1. Flyers for MSU sleep campaign
Attending college is a unique experience in American culture. Often, young adults are leaving home for the first time and beginning the process of finding their way in the world. This means regulating their own social, professional, and health behavior for the first time, without the supervision of their parents.
One health behavior that new college students must regulate without parental involvement is sleep. With new demands on studying, socializing, employment, and extracurricular activities, sleep, a critical component of health, is often overlooked among college students, which caused a number of negative outcomes, such as higher levels of depression and anxiety (Doane, Gress-Smith & Breitenstein, 2014) and lower levels of overall life-satisfaction (Li, Lepp & Barkley, 2015).
Therefore, this campaign’s goal is to improve the sleeping habits of undergraduate university students living in campus residence halls. The proposal has been designed for the MSU Student Health Services Office. The goal of this campaign is to educate college students on the benefits of being well-rested, to provide them with information to get a better night’s sleep, and, ultimately, to increase the percent of students who feel they get enough sleep throughout the week.
My role
While working on this project, I worked with 3 students all from different background(Criminal justice, Clinic and Health Communication) and the Marketing and Communication Department Manager from MSU Student Health Services Office. I was responsible for the design work of the Sleep Campaign. I did graphic design work based on the results of formative evaluation we conducted between September 2015 and December 2015. In addition, I was also responsible for Campaign Evaluation design.

3. Poster

Physical rehabilitation can be a long and arduous process, with guidance mainly being given by a therapist. This poster I designed is to show our device which is cerated to enable a fun and engaging approach to hand and arm rehabilitation, utilizing music as a form of physical and mental therapy. By pressing several touch sensors embedded onto a 3D printed glove, users will be able to play a selection of songs designed to get the user’s arms and fingers moving.
